The Los Angeles Unified School District ( LAUSD) 's Musical Instrument Repair Workshop received an Academy Award in 2025 for the story film “The Last Repair Shop.” LAUSD contracted SuperBox Events to build an extension to this facility, which is located in the Downtown Facility.
